Palm Jebel Ali
Two of the manmade islands in Dubai are the Palm Jebel
Ali, and The Palm Jumeirah
Palm Jebel
Ali is the second largest of the islands in Dubai which
follows the theme of a central palm tree with 17 fronds circled
by a series of islands in the shape
of arabic script which spells out an arabic
poem.
The island is essentialy a world class resort with hotels, luxury villas, water
theme parks, restaurants, cinemas, spas, and shopping malls.
The Palm Jumeirah extends around 6.4 km into the ocean and is primarily a
residential island with fabulous waterfront properties and exclusive beaches around its 11 km long breakwater that
surrounds the central fronds.
There are also boutique hotels within the resort area and with
fabulous snorkling, diving, luxury restaurants, 5 star shopping, The Palm
Jumeirah is generally thought to be one of the most exclusive holiday
