Wafi City Mall
Known to be one of the most elegant among Dubai shopping
centers, the Wafi City Mall is famous for having pyramid shaped
atrium roofs. With over 200 stores and 60 internationally known
retail brand name outlets, the mall boasts two levels of
covered parking. It also features the presence of a 3D motion
theatre, a roller blading rink, and a crystal maze, making it
an overall family fun mall.
All in all Dubai shopping centers are amazing. With each
having its own unique architectural style, they boast the best
of how far a shopping center could be.
Al Boom Tourist Village
Home to a banquet hall, an amusement park and marina, among
other features, the Al Boom Tourist Village is a paradise for
tourists and locals alike. It is known to be the biggest and
grandest ballroom-style wedding venue in the entire UAE,
combining traditional arts and sophisticated engineering. The
Al Boom Tourist Village is one of the most luxuriously
beautiful landmarks in Dubai.
There are six halls in the Al Boom Tourist Village – the two
biggest are the Latifa Hall and Rashid Hall with a capacity of
450 and 400 people, respectively. These two halls are the most
lavish in style featuring a blend of modern and traditional
Arab architecture and interior design. The rest of the halls
include the Al Buhaira (300 guest capacity), Adhary and Hareb
Halls (both with 200 guest capacity) and the Al Khorr (100
guest capacity).
The Al Boom Tourist Village is also popular for its cruises
where guests can enjoy not only the cruising along the Dubai
creek but also dining in a luxurious wooden Dhow. Open buffet
is served and guests can feast on both local and international
seafood and meat dishes, salads and sumptuous desserts.
There are two distinct restaurants in the Al Boom Tourist
Village, the Al Areesh and Al Dahleez, which are both inspired
by Dubai traditions. Al Areesh refers to the traditional
shelter in Dubai, which is made of palm tree leaves while Al
Dahleez refers to piece or block of wood placed by the entrance
of traditional homes to signify cleanliness. It is a tradition
for people to leave their footwear outside before they enter a
residence.
The Al Areesh restaurant serves lunch and dinner daily,
offering authentic Arabian dishes with a wide selection of
International cuisine. It seats 50 people and is ideal for
family affairs. For grill and barbecue lovers, the Al Dahleez
restaurant is a popular choice but Emirate and International
dishes are also served here.
To make a reservation for your event, go to the Al Boom
Tourist Village website and on the reservations page, simply
enter your chosen event date, name, contact numbers, number of
guests and select the hall of your choice.
